Choc Espresso Smoothie

Ingredients

frozen banana

1 tsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp smooth peanut butter

1 shot Espresso

1/2 cup milk - I use coconut almond blend

1 tbsp Greek yogurt

2 medjool dates

Ice

Optional
Honey - to serve 
Scoop of chocolate protein powder​

Directions

Step 1: Chop dates and place in a bowel with boiling water for 5 mins to soften
Step 2: In a blender add all ingredients
Step 3: Once dates are soft, add to blender and blend until smooth.
Step 4: If desired, drizzle honey inside cup before pouring. Serve immediately! 

Notes

  • Don't use crunchy peanut butter, no matter how long you blitz for the nuts will not break down.
