Cool Time:

10

Chill time:

15 mins

Serves:

3

Ingredients

5 cups water

3 tbsp granulated sweetener (stevia)

2 tsp honey

1-2 black tea bags

1/2 cup berries

3 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed is best)

Directions

Step 1: Bring 5 cups of water to a simmer in a pot.
Step 2: Stir in granulated sweetener and honey. Add the teabag(s) inside to steep.
Step 3: Bring a saucepan to medium heat with the berries for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Once berries have softened, mash into pulp with a fork or potato masher.
Step 5: Remove tea bag from pot and turn off heat. Use a sieve over the top to drain the berry juice. Use the pulp in a smoothie or jam.
Step 6: Stir in lemon juice. Pour through a funnel into a bottle and chill in fridge for 15 minutes.

Serve with Ice

Notes

  • If you want a strong tea, add another teabag :)

  • For a vibrant colour, add a few pieces of dragonfuit to berry mixture, or beetroot juice.
